waste and abuse. Ensure that all expenses are reasonable, allowable and allocable to the program. Review and approve all financial transactions submitted by the Ministry of Health’s Program
Implementation Unit (PIU) and approve payments if they meet the donor policies, the Relevant provisions of the Grant Agreement, The Global Fund’s policies on procurement the program financial management regulations and procedures and Pertinent provisions of Malawian law. Oversaw budget monitoring, cash management, and weekly financial reporting.
