Professional Experience:
I am a humanitarian professional with over seven years of experience supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of multi-country programmes within the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and partner organisations. My work sits at the intersection of operations, communication, and programme support, where I contribute to effective collaboration across diverse teams in complex and often high-pressure environments.
As Founder and Project Lead of Baatz Productions, I have coordinated the end-to-end delivery of humanitarian projects for clients including the IFRC, Netherlands Red Cross, Giro555, and the Dutch Refugee Council. In this role, I manage project workflows, support planning and budgeting processes, and ensure alignment with donor requirements and organisational standards. I act as a central focal point between stakeholders, facilitating coordination between country teams, technical specialists, and headquarters to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
In my work as a Communications Consultant with the Netherlands Red Cross, I support the implementation of communication components within broader multi-sector programmes, including climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and resilience-building initiatives. I coordinate across multiple countries, maintain oversight of timelines and deliverables, and contribute to reporting and accountability through structured documentation.
I have also supported organisational alignment and planning within the Dutch Refugee Council, strengthening coordination between headquarters and local branches, and contributing to strategic planning and workflow organisation. My experience includes proposal development, where I coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, support the development of logframes and theories of change, and ensure coherence and compliance with donor expectations.
During surge deployments with the IFRC in Ethiopia and Honduras, I worked in large-scale emergency operations, supporting information management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting. These experiences strengthened my ability to operate in multicultural environments and collaborate with a wide range of actors, including national societies, partner organisations, and affected communities.
Across my roles, I bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create clarity in complex settings. I am currently strengthening my expertise in project management through formal training and certification, with the goal of transitioning into project officer and junior project management roles within the humanitarian and development sector.
