Professional Experience:
Ms. Dawne Deppe is a senior program and performance management specialist with extensive experience across all aspects of the program management cycle, including roles as a funder, implementor and as an independent third-party evaluator. She has been responsible for contract and grant program needs assessment, conception and design; competitive and non-competitive bidding and procurement processes; partner and stakeholder engagement; program inception, implementation, and benefits delivery; and program research, monitoring, evaluation and learning. Ms. Deppe has extensive contract/grant management experience in the public sector, leading and implementing programs funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United States Department of Labor (USDOL), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) on behalf of various large and small businesses and non-profit organizations. Ms. Deppe is skilled in contract and program management and compliance; data analytics; business development and marketing; strategic planning; client/partner relationship management; public and private partnership development; and project human resources, operations, and financial management. Ms. Deppe has authored and co-authored numerous proposals (resulting in over $130 million in successful awards), baseline/formative/summative evaluations, analyses, market assessments, needs assessments, performance assessments, technical reports and white papers. She also developed numerous project and proposal management toolkits, project schedules, budgets, inception and closure plans, operations policy manuals, management information systems and dashboards, security plans, grants manuals, performance risk management plans, performance monitoring plans, and sustainability plans.
Ms. Deppe holds strong technical experience in agriculture, livelihoods and food security; natural resource management; youth development and workforce development; third-party monitoring, evaluation and learning; gender equity and social inclusion; leadership development; basic and higher education; vocational education and training; child labor prevention and reduction; economic growth and market systems support; local governance, community development, and basic and emergency services delivery; and volunteer technical assistance. Ms. Deppe is a US citizen.
