FLEMING FUND COUNTRY GRANT (Phase 2) | Nigeria Senior AMR/AMU/AMC Advisor | May 2024 – Present Lead technical advisor for Antimicrobial Consumption (AMC) and Antimicrobial Use (AMU) surveillance under the UK-funded investment - Fleming Fund Country Grant II in Nigeria.
• Strategic Surveillance: Directing the management and analysis of AMC/AMU data platforms to inform national policy and protect vulnerable populations.
• Systems Strengthening: Assessing and filling IT/infrastructure gaps to functionalize surveillance systems, leveraging DHIS2, SORMAS, and WHONET for robust reporting.
• Capacity Building: providing high-level mentorship and Training of Trainers (ToT) to project staff and government counterparts on stewardship principles.
